Five volunteer nurses from all over the country, myself in the middle, staging at FEMA tent city in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in response to Hurricane Katrina. We were the first nurses allowed into the city after the storm, and assisted in reopening and treating patients in the Emergency Room at Touro Infirmary in New Orleans' garden district.
