The backroads through the Florida Everglades

These photos were taken on my cross-county roadtrip to my assignment in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. My son, Tyler, and I took the backroads through the Florida Everglades. I saw a photo op when I spotted the "panther crossing" sign. Now that's something you don't see everyday!
Also attached is a photo of my GPS screen when crossing the Florida Keys, the marker showing the southernmost point of the USA in Key West, Florida, at that point we were closer to Cuba than to the USA mainland, and a pic of me at the beach in Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, Florida.

This photo was taken at the Florida Aquarium in Tampa while on assignment in St Petersburg, Florida. When looking at this picture, it almost appears as if you're looking at four turtles rather than two. I think this is a great representation of the different species you encounter while exploring the sunshine state. Enjoy!
